Players Club Tournament Update
Halfway through the season there's still plenty of time to climb up the leader board. It seems to be a two man battle for the top between Jeff Clayton and Richard Chavez, but Thomas Wentling is trying to close the gap. A whole slew of players are running for the "Hunter Cup" trying to scratch into the top 24 on the money list. Great events to come starting with a new event, "Three Clubs & a Putter" in June. Hope to see you all there.
Results
Match Play - Jeff Clayton Wins the Match Play Championship 3 & 2 over Richard Chavez. $200 for first $150 for second. Thanks to all who participated in this event.
US Open/Skins Game - The Black tees showed no mercy leaving even par untouched by the field. Richard Chavez wins the gross with a 73, and first place in the Net division went to John Nicholas with a 73 as well.
Triple Play - Surviving the alternate shot portion of this event was the key to success. The Father/Son team of Jeff and Cleve Clayton ham and egged their way to victory with a gross 69. The net division was taken by Bill Cushman and Craig Irvine with a net 65. $260 goes to each team.
